Oh My, the GoPro Hero 4 !

So, over the weekend a buddy and I were in a chili cook-off contest for a local charity. We did a Texas style chili – NO BEANS ! We got a lot of good comments and a few, ” what, no beans ” ?  It was our first time but had a blast on a sunny October day in Michigan. We did not win of out 23 entries. Anyway, I noticed some guy was going around with his new GoPro Hero 4 camera taking shots of the event for the local news. I had to ask him why not a more conventional DSLR ? He said it takes fantastic video and great stills while being water proof up to 40 meters. It simply is much more versatile than a DSLR.

You’ve all seen these things in news clips, strapped to a drone, a dog, an eagle, stunt vehicles and the list goes on.. The uses are vast, whether you hunt, fish, camp, report the news, scuba dive, take family pics, dash cam or want to capture images remotely, of the punks that smash your pumpkins on Halloween, this little GoPro Hero 4 is worth a look.  I think this is making it on my short list of must haves. Maybe I can strap it to my Labrador when he runs and dives off the end of our dock to retrieve a tennis ball ?
